Cochise and Geronimo were two prominent APACHE leaders who lived in the 19th century. Cochise was a chief of the Chokonen band of the Chiricahua APACHE, and Geronimo was a leader of the Bedonkohe band of the Chiricahua APACHE. Both men were known for their resistance to the US government's attempts to relocate them to reservations. They led raids against settlers and military forces in the Southwest United States.
