Cleopatra's love was the Roman general Marc ANTONY. Marc, also known as Marcus Antonius, was a prominent Roman military leader and politician who lived from 83-30 BC. He was a member of the Second Triumvirate alongside Octavian and Lepidus. ANTONY was famously in love with Cleopatra, the last active ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt. The two had a tumultuous relationship that ended with their joint suicide in 30 BC.
