The term 'REBS' is an abbreviation for the Confederate States of America, which was one of the two sides in the American Civil War. The Confederate States of America, or the Confederacy, was a group of 11 southern states that seceded from the United States in 1861 and formed their own government. The other side in the Civil War was the Union, which was made up of the remaining northern states.
