The term CITY FOOLED BY A WOODEN HORSE refers to the ancient city of TROY, which was famously tricked by the Greeks in the Trojan War. The Greeks had built a giant wooden horse and left it outside the city walls as a gift. Unbeknownst to the Trojans, the horse was filled with Greek soldiers who were able to open the gates of the city and take it over. This event is one of the most famous stories in Greek mythology.
