The Choctaw and Chickasaw are two Native American TRIBES that have a long history in the southeastern United States. They were originally located in what is now Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana, but were later forced to relocate to Oklahoma in the 1830s. The Choctaw and Chickasaw are closely related, speaking similar languages and sharing many cultural traditions. They are both members of the Muscogee Creek Confederacy, and have a strong sense of community and identity.
