The Chicago Exchange, briefly referred to as the MERC, is a futures and options exchange located in Chicago, Illinois. It is the largest futures exchange in the world and is owned by the CME Group. The MERC offers a wide range of products including agricultural commodities, energy, metals, currencies, and financial instruments. It is also home to the world's most actively traded futures contract, the E-mini S&P 500.
