The term CASTOR MOTHER OF is a reference to the Greek mythological figure Leda, who was the mother of Castor and Pollux. Leda was famously seduced by Zeus in the form of a swan, and as a result she gave birth to two sets of TWINS: Castor and Pollux, and Clytemnestra and Helen of Troy. Castor and Pollux were known as the Dioscuri, or the 'TWINS' (TWIN), and their mother was Leda (LEDA). Castor and Pollux had two half-brothers, Idas and Lynceus (IDAS and OYLS respectively).
