Cassandra, for one, is a figure from Greek mythology. She was the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy, and was known as a SEER and prophetess. She was given the gift of prophecy by Apollo, but when she refused his advances, he cursed her so that no one would believe her predictions. Cassandra was also the sister of Troilus, a Trojan prince, and Elvira, a princess of Troy.
