Cartoonist Edward Sorel is an American illustrator and caricaturist who has been creating art for over six decades. He is best known for his work in The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and The Atlantic, as well as his illustrations for books such as The Bible and Ulysses. He has also created artwork for Broadway shows, including the Tony Award-winning musicals A Chorus Line and Sunday in the Park with George. Sorel's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and he has won numerous awards, including the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben Award.
