Mel BLANC was an American voice actor, comedian, and radio personality. He is best known for his work in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons, where he voiced characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Pepe Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, and many others. He was also the voice of Woody Woodpecker in the 1940s. BLANC's work in the cartoon industry earned him the nickname 'The Man of a Thousand Voices'.
