Carolyn Keene is the pseudonym used by the creators of the Nancy Drew mystery stories. The original author was Mildred Wirt Benson, who wrote 23 of the first 30 books under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene. Edward Stratemeyer, the founder of the Stratemeyer Syndicate, created the character of Nancy Drew and wrote plot outlines for the books. His daughter, Harriet Stratemeyer Adams, wrote many of the later books in the series. Nancy's boyfriend, NED Nickerson, is a major character in the series, often helping Nancy solve mysteries. The CLUE Crew is a spin-off series featuring four young detectives, Frank and Joe Hardy, Bess Marvin, and Nancy Drew, who solve mysteries together. The Teen Titans are a group of teenage superheroes who appear in comic books published by DC Comics.
