Sammy Cahn was an American lyricist, songwriter, and musician who wrote the popular song 'Call Me Irresponsible'. He was a four-time Academy Award winner and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1972. Cahn wrote over 800 songs for films and television shows, as well as many Broadway musicals. He is best known for his collaborations with composer Jule Styne, including the classic 'Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!'
