California's REDWOOD National Park is a protected area located along the coast of northern California. It is home to the world's tallest trees, the coast redwoods, and is a popular destination for hikers, campers, and nature lovers. The park was established in 1968 to protect the REDWOOD forests from logging and other human activities. It is now a World Heritage Site and part of the California Coast Ranges International Biosphere Reserve.
