Barbara LEE is a California Representative who has been serving in the House of Representatives since 1998. She is a Democrat and represents California's 13th congressional district, which includes Oakland and Berkeley. LEE is known for her progressive views and has been an outspoken advocate for social justice and civil rights. She was the only member of Congress to vote against the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists in 2001.
