The term California Border Lake refers to four lakes located on the border of California: Lake Tahoe (5 letters), Reno (4 letters), Ontario (7 letters) and Erie (4 letters). Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, straddling the border between California and Nevada. Reno is a smaller lake located in the same mountain range, just south of Lake Tahoe. Lake Ontario is located on the border between California and Oregon, while Lake Erie is located on the border between California and Arizona.
