Butz and Scruggs were an American bluegrass duo composed of Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt. They are best known for their hit single 'Foggy Mountain Breakdown' which was featured in the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde. The duo released several albums together, including 'Nashville Airplane' and 'Flatt and Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys'. Earl Scruggs was a banjo player and Lester Flatt was a guitarist and vocalist. Together, they created a unique sound that blended traditional bluegrass with country and folk music.
