Burrows Playwright is a term used to refer to the American playwright, ABE Burrows. He was born in 1910 and is best known for his work on the musicals Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He also wrote the book for the musicals Li'l Abner and Silk Stockings. He won a Tony Award for Best Director in 1951 for his work on Guys and Dolls. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work on the film adaptation of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
