Bunker Hill General was a title given to two men during the American Revolutionary War. The first was Thomas GAGE, a British general who was appointed as the military governor of Massachusetts in 1774. He was in command of the British forces at the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. The second was William Howe, another British general who succeeded GAGE as commander-in-chief of the British forces in America in 1775. He was in charge of the British troops, known as Redcoats, at the Battle of Bunker Hill.
