Buddhist shrines are places of worship and pilgrimage for Buddhists. Two of the most common types of shrines are dagobas and stupas. Dagobas are large, dome-shaped structures made of brick or stone, often containing relics of the Buddha or other important figures in Buddhism. Stupas are also dome-shaped structures, but they are usually made of earth and contain relics or sacred objects. Both dagobas and stupas are important symbols of Buddhism and are found throughout Asia.
