Buck Ewing and Tim O'Neil are two of the most famous baseball players to have been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Ewing was a catcher, first baseman, and outfielder who played for the New York Gothams and Cincinnati Red Stockings from 1879 to 1897. O'Neil was a first baseman and manager who played for the Kansas City Monarchs from 1938 to 1955. Both men were inducted into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in 1977.
