The British General at Bunker Hill was General Howe, a British Army officer who served in the American Revolutionary War. He was appointed as the commander-in-chief of the British forces in America in 1775 and led the British troops at the Battle of Bunker Hill in June 1775. He was ultimately unsuccessful in his attempt to take the hill, but his leadership during the battle earned him respect from both sides.
