The Selkirk Mountains are a mountain range located in British Columbia, Canada. They are part of the Northern Rocky Mountains and extend from the Monashee Mountains in the west to the Purcell Mountains in the east. The highest peak in the range is Mount Sir Sandford at 3, 519 metres (11, 545 ft). The range is home to a variety of wildlife, including grizzly bears, wolves, and mountain goats. It is also popular for outdoor activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking.
