Brigham City is a city in the northern part of Utah, located near the border with Idaho. It is the county seat of Box Elder County and is named after Brigham Young, an early leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ogden, Utah is located about 50 miles south of Brigham City and is the ninth-largest city in the state. Orem is a city located in Utah County, about 45 miles south of Brigham City. Provo is the third-largest city in Utah and is located about 40 miles south of Brigham City. Youngs is an unincorporated community located in Box Elder County, about 10 miles east of Brigham City. Mormon is a term used to refer to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
