Charles Goren was a bridge expert who was renowned for his contributions to the game of bridge. He wrote several books on the subject and was a regular columnist for the Saturday Evening Post. He was also a frequent guest on television shows, including What's My Line? and I've Got a Secret. He was the first bridge player to be awarded the title of Grand Life Master by the American Contract Bridge League.
