Carl Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who developed the concept of analytical psychology. GESTALT psychology is a school of thought that emphasizes holistic processing and the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Albert Ellis was an American psychologist who developed Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, which focuses on changing irrational beliefs to more adaptive ones. All three of these terms are branches of psychology.
