Nadia Boulanger was a French composer, conductor, and teacher who is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in 20th-century music. She was also a noted music educator, and her pupils included some of the most important composers of the 20th century, such as Aaron Copland, Elliott Carter, and Astor Piazzolla. Her compositions include the opera 'La Sirène' and the cantata 'Pâte Humaine'. Her brother, Lili Boulanger, was also a composer, and her nephew, Arne Boulanger, is a contemporary composer.
