The Borneo Primate is the Orangutan, a species of great ape native to the island of Borneo. They are the only exclusively Asian species of great ape and are known for their intelligence and long lifespan. Orangutans are highly arboreal and spend most of their time in trees. They are also the most solitary of the great apes, with social bonds occurring primarily between mothers and their dependent offspring.
