Bolivia's Constitutional Capital is Sucre, a city located in the south-central part of the country. It is the capital of the Chuquisaca Department and was founded in 1538 by Pedro Anzures de Campo Redondo. Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia, as it is the seat of the Supreme Court and the National Congress. It is also the home of the Bolivian government and the official residence of the President of Bolivia.
