Charles ATLAS was an Italian-American bodybuilder who was known as the 'World's Most Perfectly Developed Man'. He was born Angelo Siciliano in Acri, Italy in 1892 and emigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1903. He became famous for his bodybuilding program, which he advertised in comic books. He was also known for his iconic advertisement featuring a 97-pound weakling being sand kicked by a bully. Charles ATLAS' legacy lives on today as one of the most influential bodybuilders of all time.
