Blank tapes are a type of magnetic tape used for recording audio or video. They are often referred to as 'recording tapes' because they can be used to record sound or video onto them. Blank tapes are usually made of plastic and have a thin layer of magnetic material on one side. The other side is usually blank, hence the name. ERASE is the process of removing the recorded material from the tape, allowing it to be reused.
