Opal Tometi is a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement. She is an immigrant from Nigeria and a human rights activist. She is also the executive director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, an organization that works to protect the rights of black immigrants. Tometi has been a vocal advocate for racial justice and has been involved in numerous campaigns to end police brutality and systemic racism.
