Doris Kearns Goodwin is an American biographer, historian, and political commentator. She is best known for her works on Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson. Goodwin has written several books, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II. She has also been a frequent guest on television news programs, such as NBC's Meet the Press.
