CANAAN was a region located in the Levant, which is a geographical and cultural region in the Eastern Mediterranean. Edom was a kingdom located in the southern part of modern-day Jordan. Samaria was a region located in the northern part of modern-day Israel. Gaza was a city located in the southwestern part of modern-day Israel.
