The Biblical Kingdom of Moab was an ancient kingdom located in modern-day Jordan. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as a source of conflict between the Israelites and the Ammonites. The kingdom was ruled by a succession of kings, including King Balak, who hired the prophet Balaam to curse the Israelites. Moab was eventually conquered by the Assyrians and Babylonians, and its people were exiled.
