A bewhiskered creature is an animal with whiskers, which are long, stiff hairs that protrude from the face. Two examples of bewhiskered creatures are seals and walruses. Seals are semi-aquatic mammals found in all oceans and some freshwater lakes and rivers. Walruses are large marine mammals found in the Arctic Ocean and subarctic seas. Both seals and walruses have long whiskers that help them to detect prey and navigate in murky waters.
