The Beatles drummer was Ringo Starr, whose real name is Richard Starkey. He joined the band in 1962 and was an integral part of their sound. His drumming style was unique and he was known for his use of tom-toms and cymbals. He also sang lead vocals on some of the band's most popular songs, such as 'Yellow Submarine' and 'With a Little Help from My Friends'. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
