Beame and Burrows was a law firm founded in New York City in the early 1970s by former Mayor Abe Beame and his law partner, Harold Burrows. The firm specialized in corporate and real estate law, and provided legal services to many of the city's leading businesses. The firm was dissolved in the late 1980s. The term 'ABES' is an acronym for Abe Beame and Harold Burrows, the two founders of the firm.
