A battlefield doctor, also known as a MEDIC, is a medical professional who provides medical care to those injured on the battlefield. They are responsible for providing emergency medical treatment and stabilizing patients in order to prevent further injury or death. They must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a chaotic environment, often under extreme pressure. Battlefield doctors must also be able to provide psychological support to those affected by the trauma of war.
