Manny Mota is a former professional baseball player who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, and Pittsburgh Pirates from 1969 to 1982. He was a four-time All-Star and won two World Series championships with the Dodgers. He was known for his ability to hit for average and get on base, leading the National League in walks three times. He was also an excellent defensive outfielder, winning a Gold Glove Award in 1980.
