Baseball's Joe is a reference to Joe Torre, a former Major League Baseball player and manager. He played for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, and New York Mets from 1960 to 1977. After his playing career, he managed the Mets, Braves, Cardinals, New York Yankees, and Los Angeles Dodgers. He won four World Series championships with the Yankees and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
