Enos Slaughter was a professional baseball player who played for 19 seasons in Major League Baseball. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He was known for his aggressive base running and was nicknamed 'The Man' for his ability to get on base and score runs. He was a 10-time All-Star and won three World Series championships with the St. Louis Cardinals.
