Duke Snider was a baseball Hall-of-Famer who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1947 to 1964. He was an eight-time All-Star and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980. Snider was known for his powerful bat and was one of the most feared sluggers of his era. He was also a two-time World Series champion and was named to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999.
