Bud Selig is a former Major League Baseball executive who served as the Commissioner of Baseball from 1998 to 2015. He was the ninth Commissioner in MLB history and was responsible for overseeing the sport's operations, including labor relations, drug testing, and revenue sharing. Selig also played a key role in the expansion of the league, the introduction of interleague play, and the creation of the Wild Card system. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017.
