Barrister's wear is a traditional form of dress worn by barristers in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries. It consists of a black ROBE, a white WIG, and a pair of white wigs. The ROBE is usually made of wool or silk and is worn over a shirt and waistcoat. The WIG is a full-length hairpiece made of horsehair or synthetic fibers. The two wigs are worn on either side of the head and are usually made of horsehair or synthetic fibers.
