Echappe is a jump in which the dancer springs off one foot and lands on the other. GLISSADE is a sliding step. Jete is a LEAP in which the dancer throws one leg forward and the other backward. LEAP is a jump in which the dancer propels themselves off both feet. Passe is a step in which one leg passes the other.
