Ballet Glide is a term used to describe a series of movements that are used in ballet. The movements include GLISSADE (8 letters), CHASSE (6 letters), SOAR (4 letters), SKITTER (7 letters), COAST (5 letters) and SKI (3 letters). GLISSADE is a sliding step where the dancer moves one foot in front of the other. CHASSE is a step where the dancer moves sideways with one foot in front of the other. SOAR is a jump where the dancer jumps off one foot and lands on the other. SKITTER is a quick, light step where the dancer moves their feet quickly in a hopping motion. COAST is a step where the dancer slides their feet across the floor. SKI is a step where the dancer moves their feet in a cross-over pattern. All of these steps are used to create a graceful, flowing movement in ballet.
