The Baghdad River is a major river in Iraq, and it is formed by the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The Tigris River, which is six letters long, is one of the two main tributaries of the Baghdad River. It is approximately 1, 850 km (1, 150 mi) long and flows through Turkey, Iraq, and Syria. The Tigris is an important source of water for Iraq and provides irrigation for much of the country's agricultural land.
