Baby elephants are young animals that are born to adult elephants. They are also known as CALVES and are typically born after a gestation period of 22 months. Baby elephants are usually around 3 feet tall and weigh between 200 and 300 pounds. They are very playful and have a strong bond with their mothers. They are also very social animals and can be seen playing with other baby elephants in the wild.
