B-BALL is a shortened version of the word basketball. Basketball is a popular sport played by two teams of five players each on a rectangular court. The objective of the game is to shoot a ball through a hoop mounted high on a backboard at each end of the court. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. HOOPS is another term for the basket or rim that the ball must be shot through in order to score points.
