Gail Sheehy is an American author and journalist who has written several books, including the best-selling Passages. Sheehy has been a contributing editor to Vanity Fair since 1984 and has written for many other publications, including New York Magazine and The New York Times. Sheehy has received numerous awards for her work, including the National Magazine Award for Public Service and the Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications.
